The Mad Carpenter’s Top Ten Pictures
So at the end of this year… Year nine I guess since we reset everything. As is the tradition with television and the internet it’s time to make a top ten. So since I haven’t completed ten projects this year (I’m aware that I am not a very productive carpenter) I’m going to pick my ten favourite pictures of this year. As is usual, we shall start at number ten.

January First Two Thousand and Ten
I’m not saying that I’m doing another 365 project, but I’d like to keep myself covered. Top ten of last year shall be online in a few days.
New Year’s Eve
And so, it is upon us. The end of days.
Adam came down and we had a New Year’s blow out.
I formatted the memory card in my camera, so as to remove all pictures from last year. In fairness, they’re all saved on the laptop, so I’ll still have them. Symbolic really.
Wednesday
Tomorrow… I may put up the top ten 365 pictures of this year. It may be in January. I don’t know. But tomorrow Adam is coming over, so we’ll be drinking for the last time this year.

Back at home, having a bit of a family Christmas. Love the old family Christmas I do. Glad I burned out on Monday so I can relax over the next few days.

There was a party tonight. A Christmas party for us and the kith/kin. Some madness ensued, which you can view after the Jump. But for now, this.

Snow Sunday
Went out playing in the snow, got really cold, and came back in for soup. I like the cold, but I like it even more when I can sit by the fire and look at the cold outside.

Snowing outside. Looking like a white Christmas. Haven’t had one of those in years.
Friday
I’m away home for the weekend. Going back from the Long Lane Christmas on Monday, and then back home again Wednesday.
…Could have planned this better. But all shall work out; always does.

Double dole day today. Most of my present buying will have to happen after Christmas, as money is tight. Lean lean Christmas this year, but it’s not about massive amounts of presents. It’s about family. And getting drunk all day and eating a massive amount of tasty food.
