So this week we have a few things I’ve picked up, and pictures from Kage’s birthday party. Which was a blowout affair, so enjoy!

It’s so hard to put a frame on a lot of the things I’m trying to capture. There’s so many billboards and advertisements, signs and neon… You really just have to see it to believe it.

You know when you get “paint your own pottery” places?
This is an honest-to-goodness “brew your own beer” place. I like the sound of this place, and we’ll hopefully be brewing some soon.

You know what? Ikea is fun to hang out in. Everyone’s opening drawers, playing with stuff, lying on the beds and couches. It’s tactile. And the massive warehouse out back is like the warehouse at the end of raiders.

A beach cruiser that I’ve been riding. Got hand brakes installed because trying to backpedal next to 6 lanes of traffic is terrifying.

This is where I think I’ll be buying my tobacco and supplies from now on. It’s called Shamrock Smoke and it’s run by some Indian or Pakistani guys. I love the states: nobody will call you out on whatever you want to say.

And to round out the week – a nice bottle of high gravity malt liquor.
