Yes, you can commission The Mad Carpenter to make you a piece of custom furniture, or any rough and ready, simple decorative piece. Any plans would be appreciated, but having completed 5 years of technical drawing in secondary school I’m sure I could whip up some sketches if all you have is a basic idea.

For your perusal is a coffin I made last year for a friend. It is 3 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 1 foot high. I built it as a decorative coffee table, or “coffin table” as they are called in the coffin furniture world. It’s mdf, pine and hardboard, put together with half lap joints and screws. We’ve tested it up to 100 pounds, and it can be easily lifted by two people. It would be great as a Halloween prop; if you got some friends together you could carry it with you to the bar.

All prices to be decided between myself and the commissioner depending on what it is you’d like hand crafted.
