So this week we have a few things I’ve picked up, and pictures from Kage’s birthday party. Which was a blowout affair, so enjoy!

So at the end of this year… Year nine I guess since we reset everything. As is the tradition with television and the internet it’s time to make a top ten. So since I haven’t completed ten projects this year (I’m aware that I am not a very productive carpenter) I’m going to pick my ten favourite pictures of this year. As is usual, we shall start at number ten.

What’s not to like about smoking a pipe at a party?

One of many pictures that illustrate how good I look while smoking, and it’s the first time in the year that I shaved my head.

My first Kilt. It shall be one of many one day.

Hallowe’en this year was great fun. It’s a fantastic Irish holiday. I went as one of Mussolini’s boys. Nobody really got it. At least the clothes I was wearing were real clothes, so it’s not like I wore a crappy costume once.

One of the most fun parties ever. Senan casually mentioned that they were dressing up as gangsters… and everybody arrived with fake guns, sharp suits, hats, back stories… it was amazing.

The greatest thing I did in 2009… was visit Kimberlee. I’m going back in 2010.

I could babble on and on about how Senan and Ruth were fantastic hosts, the poker game was great fun, we drank all the beer and whiskey, midnight pies and losing an argument with a barbed wire fence but the pictures speak for themselves.

Ah there we are. Rounding out a week of pointlessly titled days, just to add some variance to this project. Hope you all had a good weekend, Because mine was alright despite being sick.

St. Patrick’s started last night you know. Hope you’re all drinking.

January 31st – Party time

Ok so here’s the story. We had planned to go to Derry, meet up with Becky (Pictured later) and head out to the pub with her, and any of her friends that had decided to arrive. The details she handed out, we’re slightly sketchy.

However, when alcohol started being passed around… and cigarettes were abundant, when the music started being turned up, and there was a pistachio shell fight… it seemed very unlikely that we were going to leave the house. So we all settled in, drank ourselves silly and had a fantastic old time.

And I got pictures.

My hat got passed around a lot.

Taking hand rolled cigarettes to a whole new level. There was a VHS box stuffed with tobacco.

And then when everyone had pottered off to bed, and wandered off home: Sin, Mary and I slept on Air mattresses and giggled ourselves to sleep. It was a brilliant night out. Except for the fact that I got bitten by a ferret. He was cute though.

And now we’re up to date again. I’m not starting fashion week again, I just thought I’d show off one of my suits, I’m going to a party tomorrow. Might wear this, might not. A dark shirt would look better and twinned with a light tie… perfick.

Busy, busy day today… Payed the rent, the phone bill, got around 10 pounds of meat in ASDA (Part of the Wal Mart family don’t you know) and half a carton of mayfair superkings. It’s been in interesting day, and hopefully tomorrow will be a day of relaxation in Derry with new friends and old in a dingy little pub on the Foyle river. It better be marvelous or I’ll be mad as shit.
